PRC unable to have long term close and equal partnership

Just in case some have the illusion of an extremely close and equal partnership between Russia and the PRC, allow me to go over some history quickly to show "close and equal" has never happened and will never with the PRC.

Russians founded the CCP and the relationship between the CCP and Russia couldn't have been closer before Stalin died. When Mao wanted to be the boss of the communist movement, the relationship soured quickly.

The CCP suffered over 1M casualties in the Korean War to save the DPRK. The true relationship between the PRC and the DPRK was very poor and rocky for a long time because Kim was too independent for the CCP.

Nehru was hailed by the CCP as one of the great world leaders. The Five Principles of Peaceful Co-existence initiated with India were treated as the gold standard guiding international relationships.  The honeymoon ended with the Sino-Indian war.

The CCP provided massive support for Viet Cong with military personnel, weapons, apparel, and food until their victory, but a Sino-Vietnames War broke out 4 years later because the Viet Cong was too independent. The relation was once dubbed "Comrade + Brother".

I used to pass by a small park with Sino-Albanese friendship trees gifted by Albany on my way to school and watch Albanese movies, but suddenly in 1978 Albany became a bad country, and most ties were severed.

The CCP's world is hierarchical.  They can obey their masters as they did the USSR for decades or dictate inferior partners in close relationships. They can never maintain sustained close and equal partner relationships. 

Their ideal partners are people like Orban, Vucic, Imran Khan who say everything that the CCP wants to hear and do pretty much everything they are asked. If any of their countries have an independent and dignified state head, the relationship with the PRC can go south rapidly.

If Moscow KGB thugs want to maintain the lifeline thrown to them by Beijing to sustain their war in Ukraine, they must behave like provincial officials following Beijing's directions.

Thoughts on the Rashist slaughter in Ukraine

I started to write down these thoughts in February 2023 before my second trip to Ukraine, paused for many months, picked it up intermittently in the summer, and finally finished on Saturday, September 23, 2023. I will not edit this post because I want to come back to it to see how my views will change or remain in the future.
