Brief summary of the history of Sino-Russo relationship

The KGB thug is in Beijing to report to his masters 10 days after his inauguration.  He is appropriated by the state councilor Shen Yiqin in charge of women, children, pension, sports, and veterans affairs at the airport.

Here is my ultra-brief summary of the history of the Sino-Ruso relationship in light of gross misunderstandings by some people such as Vivek Ramaswamy.

Russia annexed 910k km^2 from China (i.e., the Qing dynasty) through two treaties signed under the gun (Aigun and Beijing) from 1858 to 1860. That is 25x the area of Taiwan, but the CCP does not want it back while being obsessed with Taiwan.

The CCP was started and then funded for a long period by Russians as their puppet through their controlled Comintern.

The CCP established the short-lived Chinese Soviet Republic in 1931 with the intention to turn China into a Soviet republic to help complete Russia's annexation of China. Mao was the state head. The party was still under complete Russian control then.

Russia effortlessly took Manchuria in about 10 days near the end of WWII after Americans and its strong ally KMT shed a tremendous amount of blood to defeat Japanese fascists while the CCP colluded with them.

Russians transferred Japanese POWs and weapons to the CCP to fight the legitimate Chinese government led by the KMT while Red Army troops were busy raping Chinese women with impunity offered by the CCP (this is not a joke or exaggeration. Likely over 1 million women in Manchuria were raped).

When US ally KMT was about to wipe out the CCP, the US intervened to stop it, then hesitated to support KMT. With strong Russian support, the CCP drove KMT to Taiwan and took over Mainland China to establish the PRC.

Mao was never happy with the Moscow faction in the CCP and how he was treated by Russians. For example, he purged most of the so-called 28-and-a-half Bolsheviks. Sino-Ruso relationship soured after Stalin died.

Sino-Ruso border war broke out in 1969.

Please keep in mind:  Russia (i.e., the USSR) was ALREADY the PRC's #1 enemy BEFORE Nixon's visit in 1972. Nixson DID NOT separate the PRC from Russia. Mao did this because he wanted to be the world head of the communist revolution.

The PRC maintained a lukewarm relationship with post-Soviet Russia while developing its economy relatively quickly by absorbing Western technologies and investment until the middle school dropout ascended to the top in 2012

The middle school dropout was particularly aghast at the USSR collapse. He admires KGB thug Putin's ruling with an iron fist.  His first trip as a state head was to Moscow in 2013 and his first after being "re-elected" 10 years later was also to Moscow.

Keep in mind: the PRC and Russia were ALREADY so close that they were in de factor alliance BEFORE Russia invaded Ukraine. The war did not push Russia to the PRC but was approved and supported by the PRC.

However, the war has made a difference. The Sino-Russo relationship was more or less equal before the war. The PRC was much stronger but Putin was much smarter than the middle school dropout and often played the latter like a fiddle.

The war has turned Russia into a de facto province of the PRC. Putin may be naughty sometimes at present, but it does not change his nature as Beijing's lapdog. If Beijing wants Putin to keep expending his cannon fodder to hit the West, it will supply what he needs.

If Beijing senses the war is no longer in its favor, Putin will follow their order to find an off-ramp or Beijing will threaten to withdraw the support to collapse the Russian economy, like how a master makes his dog obey.
