I learned a lot about the great country Ukraine with an 11-day trip across the country. The main feeling that I had after the trip is that Ukrainians are undefeatable based on my layperson's basic knowledge of history and common sense. Please allow me to explain. I dare not predict how and when the war will end but I am quite certain the KGB thug's goal of installing a puppet like Lukashenko in Kyiv and taking a big chunk of UA's territory is unattainable.  The free world's aid to UA (HIMARS, ATGMs...) has little to do with the final outcome though it dramatically reduces the cost of UA in terms of the blood of previous and highly productive lives of UA servicemen and servicewomen.  In other words, without international aid, UA would defeat the KGB thug eventually. The fight could morph into insurgence and the cost for both sides would be extraordinarily high. It is commonly accepted that current Rashists are in no better relative position in UA than their USSR predeces

I thought I knew the communist history, especially all of its major events, reasonably well thanks to the 2-decade mandatory education on them, so I was surprised by what I saw at the Polish Army Museum last week - Poles stopped a major communist expansion. Together with Ukrainians, they stopped the Russian Bolsheviks despite they fought Ukrainians not long before. The commissar of the Red Army in the war was Stalin who endured his biggest humiliation as a result of this defeat. Suddenly, so many things started to make sense. The humiliation may be one reason for this ruthless butcher to murder 22k Polish officers in Katyn. Today, it is the 2nd time Poles and Ukrainians stand together to fight Russian expansion by another ruthless Russian butcher. I was very much impressed by the Poles. At Przemysl, a major entry point from UA, I saw volunteers from elementary school pupils to people in their 70s working enthusiastically at the train station.
