PRC's understandable hardline in dealing with Trump

The PRC has been taking a hardline in the trade war with Trump, reminiscent of the Korean War, where Mao threw in 2.4 million cannon fodder to fight America and its allies.

It is easy to understand the middle school dropout's hardline once you put yourself in his shoes.

This is what you would perceive:

Your Moscow lapdog plays Trump and his confidant Witkoff like fiddles. Would you want to fare worse than your lapdog, a provincial-level head?

If you were the emperor of the Central Kingdom and meticulous in creating and maintaining your image of power, would you want to look worse than your serf of your Russia province?

Here is how your Russian lapdog plays the fiddles:

 1. He wants Crimea to be Russia's permanent territory. Trump's administration recognizes it.

2. He wants to ban Ukraine from NATO membership.  Trump's administration strongly supports his position.

3. He wants to topple the "Zelenskyy regime", and Trump's administration worked hard with the Ukrainian opposition to help him achieve this, though they failed due to the unity of Ukrainians when facing the Rashists.

4. He and his yes-men constantly derides President Zelenskyy. Vance and Trump humiliated Zelenskyy in front of the world as publicly as it could be.

5. He uses "protecting Russian-speakers" as an excuse to invade Ukraine. Whitoff helps spread the lie.

6. He wants to kill innocent civilians with impunity. Not only was the Trump administration afraid of condemning the crimes, but it also actively opposed others' condemnation.

7. He opposes the free world's military aid. Trump has long opposed military aid, and his defense secretary paused equipment shipments and intelligence sharing. They are providing only what Congress approved a while ago.

8. He opposes sanctions. Trump has shielded him from further sanctions and offered to lift sanctions, trade partnership, and investment to help save his crumbling industries.

This is just a partial list of the tunes of the fiddles played by the middle school dropout's Moscow lapdog. He has no choice but to do better to maintain his image and authority.

Trump has been publicly signaling that he has been longing for a phone call from the middle school dropout. This certainly boosts the MSD's confidence.

I have been saying since even before the full-scale slaughter that the battle in Ukraine is between the free world and the new Axis of Evil led by the PRC. Its outcome will have profound ramifications affecting the fate of Taiwan and other parts of the free world. The trade war is a part of the battle, too.
