Stunning censorship of Medium

I tried to publish a story about COVID (my first story on Medium). It is neither progressive nor conservative, no conspiracy theories or rumors. Yet, it was censored by Medium without informing me which part of the story violates its rules. Anyone who intends to establish a position on Medium should be aware of it. Censorship can change at any moment in terms of its rules. It would be a nightmare for anyone to publish a series of articles gaining attractions, then suddenly find his/her articles starting to get censored. This is why I have just started using Blogger.  Hope  Blogger  will not impose censorship like that by totalitarian regimes.

US will get better regardless of election outcome

Many people believe the presidential inauguration will mark the beginning of an American apocalypse. I disagree. Let me give you 3 specific reasons. 1. The coronavirus pandemic situation will get better. It is almost impossibl e  for it to be worse than it has been — the mortality rate among the top 5% of the world. The most effective therapeutics — monoclonal antibodies — will be more widely available. The most vulnerable (old and sick) may all get them, and they will get vaccines. The vast majority of the coronavirus mortalities are from a small portion of the population — old and weak. If they are protected via vaccines or mAbs, the mortality rate can drop by an order of magnitude making the coronavirus equivalent to light flu. 2. The fight to remove the international cancer — CCP — will continue though it may be at a different pace if Biden is elected. The current administration deserves a lot of credit to turn the tide against the CCP. The tide has turned permanently worldwide.

Why US has one of the worst coronavirus handlings

On the eve of the 2020 presidential election (2020–11–02), the US’ coronavirus mortality rate is among the top 5% in the world. Yes, China was responsible for the initial spread of the virus — possible accidental lab leak of the virus, suppression of early infection information, allowing international traffic out of the initial epicenter Wuhan, and strong opposition to travel restrictions on China through its controlled WHO. The responses of Taiwan, S. Korea ,  Japan, etc. and the early responses of Czechia, Germany, Slovakia, etc. have shown the coronavirus can be controlled at a low burning level without draconian lockdowns. If properly handled, the coronavirus can be controlled to a level equivalent to superflu with total fatalities below 100K instead of marching toward 300K. The US has done a lot of great things in dealing with the coronavirus, but handling the virus properly demands the right action in every step. The following is a brief history of how the US has got here: 1.  Tr
